Marilyn& Paul After reading about the passing of your father, an image of a tall, friendly faced man came to mind. As time passes and our parents pass away, suddenly it becomes apparent that we are now the adults in this world. Where has the time gone where we were the children protected by our parents? Always know you are never alone, you have loving friends that care about you dearly. With love and sympathy Kit and Doug

Marilyn and Family; We are writing to you to say what an honour it was to know your Dad (and your Mom). We first met them through my step-father Jim Dean and my Mother Stella Dean (both of whom are deceased) when they lived in Bobcaygeon. When Jim was very sick and I(Jackie) arrived in Lindsay it was your Dad that met me and took me first to Bobcaygeon and then drove me into Lindsay. He was such a gentle, kind and wonderful person. One of our favourite recollections of him was when my Mum got a puppy...a welsh corgi(not very big even full grown)and there is your Dad standing outside the house at Kenstone Beach in Bobcaygeon with this tiny little puppy at his feet!!!! It is funny but as I was going through pictures the other day, for other reasons, I came across that picture and it brought a smile to my face. When My Mum was sick 4 years ago and in Ross Memorial your Dad made it a point to pop in and see her when he was visiting your Mom...they were just across the hall from one another. When My Mum passed away he came to the funeral even though he was going through such a tough time himself. He was such a gentleman. He had a wonderful sense of humour and we always welcomed his visits to the home in Bobcaygeon with your Mom. We feel very honoured to have had the chance to read his book that he wrote which is now in our home...we will cherish it! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time and although we never met, we always heard about all the family news and how everyone was doing. There was sparkle in his eyes when he spoke of you! Jackie and Peter Radoman Richmond Hill

Hi Marlyn Very, very sorry to hear of Uncle Jack's passing last week. It "seems" so recent that we lost your mom and Jack (at that time)was heading down to the Forest area to be close by. I will always have fond and proud memories of your Dad. He always provided good counsel and advice that I valued when we spoke. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with issues during these difficult times. Keep well Bruce

I was indeed sorry to read of Jack's passing in the London Free Press this morning but I am confident he is now reunited with Grace. I have fond memories of Bible Class reunions at the Townsend home on Pigeon Lake, and one in particular which was a bridal shower for my daughter, Laurel. My sincere sympathy to all the family.
