Deepest condolences to the Holbrook family from the Parker family - just down the 12th line. From 1971 to 1973, I was a regular visitor at the home of Eugene and Merna. Jimmy and I played baseball outside and mini hockey and basketball in the house. I always remember Merna as a very friendly woman who always made me feel at home. I recall her bringing down a big tray of raisin tarts when my Grandmother passed away and they were so good. My Grandmother and Merna connected in her early married days Merna told us and she never forgot that gesture.
The Holbrooks and Parkers go back at least 4 generations and I hate to see how time has changed the character of the road.

Aunt Mern, you were a loving, caring Mother, Grandma and Aunt to all of us.
We loved your laugh, your stories, your love for animals and you always had lots of hugs for us.
There were a lot of fun memories made for us when staying on the farm for summer holidays.
Not quite 2 years ago, our mom (Eva) was able to have a great visit with you, so happy we were able to make that visit happen.
Even though Eva can’t remember things or speak of you, we know she is sending prayers for you and your family.
You will be missed but you are at peace now !
