Obituary of George Edward Spencer

Passed away suddenly at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on May 18, 2018 at the age of 81.  Beloved husband of Carol Spencer. Loving father of Carol Stokley (Derek) of Bright’s Grove and step father of Debbie (Kerry) King and the late Mike Moore (2017). He will be missed by his grandchildren; Andrew (Stacey), Nicholas (Laura), Kelly (Alexandra) and Katherin Stokley, Melissa (Mike) VanGorp and Mathew King. Great grandfather of Emily and Evan VanGorp. Brother of Marion Bradley, Doris (Jim) Brown, Shirley (Doug) Frew and the late Russell and Raymond Spencer. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF WATFORD 519-876-2218 on Tuesday, May 22^nd from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 23^rd at 11 AM with Reverend Gordon Simmons officiating. A Royal Canadian Legion Service will be held at Denning’s of Watford under the auspices of Watford Legion Branch 172 on Tuesday at 6:30 pm.  Memorial donations may be made to Watford Legion Branch 172 or Trinity Anglican Church.
