So sad to hear about Dave's passing. Loved being greeted by him with a smile at church, especially when he and Grandpa Bob were working the door for spaghetti dinners or the Irish stew supper. Thinking of you all.

Kris, Mackinley and I send our condolences.
some of my best memories were spending time with Dave and Norma at the Shell Station as a young kid.... working while visiting....
Dave was always very appreciative of my assistance.... you know pumping the wrong gas,..... forgetting to put the gas cap back on the departing vehicle and drinking the "free" pop from the water cooled soda cooler....eating free potato chips and chocolate bars.

Our sincere condolences Norma to you and your family. Dave and I go back a very long way, both growing up in Watford...friends, classmates. With our owning properties in Watford close to your home, and being there every weekend from spring to late fall, Dave would often stop for wonderful chats....always a gentleman. We will greatly miss being greeted by Dave and also our mutual friend the late Bob Brown at Trinity's 'Spaghetti night in Canada' every month from fall to spring. He was so respected by so very many. Dave was a remarkable man who seemed to exude humour and caring, I have many wonderful memories of him from my childhood and I will miss out chats at the Post Office and other local spots. We are sending hugs and love to all of you on the passing of Dave. Gwendy and I have many fun filled memories of time spent with the Wilsons over the years. Growing up as neighbours, Rick and I spent many a day playing with Jim and Barb. I can still see Dave waving at Jim and I driving in circles around their backyard in Norma's little car, at least I think he was waving at us LOL.
Our family couldn't have asked for better neighbours and friends. Dave was always ready for a chat and a laugh and he will be missed more than words can say.

Dearest Norma, Jim, Barb, Scott and families,
Please accept my deepest condolences. We spent a lot of time in your home throughout our teenage years and always received a very warm welcome- Dave’s sense of fun and community was outstanding. Even as a child, going to Wilson’s gas station was an event, often involving an outrageously large ice cream cone!
May your memories of this wonderful man bring peace and comfort to all of you!
