Very sorry to hear of your loss but also rejoicing that he is reunited with Evelyn as they were definitely a great team. I remember them from the restaurant days in Watford and the food was always so good and the service warm and friendly. He indeed had a full life. May he rest in peace.

Your dad was a hoot. Always ready to share great life tips like the benefits of each whole cloves of garlic, elbow grease, and escaping in the afternoon to work hard at “ the Port” ( Port Franks.) I often quote him as I hand dirty plates to someone on dish duty. “ I like you, so I give you things. “. I’m blessed to have had him in my life those years.
