Connie was a wonderful lady. She taught me everything I needed to know during my teen years at Canada Post. From how to deal with berating customers, to tips and tricks on how to get the place clean as a button. I was hired at the young age of 14, and was trained by Connie who remained my supervisor for many years. Now at age 21, I will always look back and remember her as the person who prepared me for the working world.
To be honest, I cannot believe that she is gone. She was too young and always had a pep in her step at work. I was expecting her to be around for a long time. She kept things running smoothly, and knew the ins and outs of dealing with the public (and with her boss! Haha). I always admired her for her hard work, as I knew she had to drive from Forest every single day to get to work. Almost everyday I think of Connie when I get in my car and drive to school in London. It is an hour drive to school, and an hour drive home for me. I think to myself that if she could do it, then so can I! Truly an inspiration for me to plod on even when times get tough.
I always remember her telling stories of her sisters and her family, and I would listen with such admiration. She had so much love in her heart for them, and it shined through with every word she spoke of them.
Recently I did a speech on my time at Canada Post and OLG at the University of Western Ontario, and I talked about Connie and the morals that she had taught me. She was a great mentor, even if she didn't know it herself. I learned so much just from watching her work, and watching her live. I felt as though she found joy in the little things in life, and by seeing this it enabled me to find joy in those things too.
You will always be remembered Connie, thinking of you. Thank you for all that you have done for me. Robynne Hay.

Vicky, Becky and Wendy and extended families. I was so sorry to hear that Connie's cancer returned and that she had passed away. Although I haven't spent much time with the Brandon girls in many many years, I do know that Connie was a kind and gentle soul and that she will be missed by all of you. So much is written about sisters and their often intense relationships with each other, I can only imagine how the loss of your eldest sister will impact each of you. I have such great memories of our family trips to Forest and our time with you when you were young girls. Having spent most of my time surrounded by brothers and male cousins, I think I was a little taken aback by how quiet and reserved you all seemed. I especially enjoyed our visit a few years back when Ward and I got together with you at Vicky's and went through boxes of old photos, laughing and sharing memories. Thinking of you and sending love and huge hugs your way. Cousin Sandi

Connie was a co-worker (The Sampler) of mine for many years. Over the years she also became a great friend and confidante. Connie always shared wonderful stories of her children and their accomplishments. Connie loved to tell us stories of her time spent with her grandchildren. I am sorry that I was not able to attend Connie's funeral, but I wanted her children to know that Connie will me missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Judy Boucher

Blessings for the sisters, family and friends and all her tribe. May we all hold the truth of Connie and know that all the goodness she brought is eternal. For me it has been a long time for me since my last connection with the Brandons. It does not negate the love and laughter we enjoyed together in Forest so many years ago and the goodness and love Connie was and remains to those around her through her life. Love and Peace. Cousin Pat
