I was saddened to learn of Duncan's passing from Piper J.R. Duncan was most kind and patient in welcoming a 'trained in Newfoundland' drummer into his pipe bands. That experience lead to friendships beyond those made in my new West Lorne neighbourhood, and not to mention the permanent family connections that endure. All the best at this difficult time. Derm and Christine

Nancy, Jane, Lori and Karen I am so sorry to hear the loss of Duncan. He was such a happy upbeat guy. I was always so impressed with how when you guys were together as a family, I had never heard such laughing and joking around as you all did together and I remember thinking these guys really love each other. So remember the good times and enjoy your great memories together. We are so sorry for your loss. Niki Amlin

We are so sorry about the passing of Duncan. He was truly a great man. He will truly be missed. He certainly made beautiful music. I was looking through our wedding photos just the other day. There is a wonderful picture of Duncan speaking with Greg holding his pipes. His music made our wedding day very special because of the wonderful heritage it brought to the ceremony. He left a legacy, of a wonderful family and great friends. God Bless Greg and Christine and family

I am deeply saddened to hear of Mr. McGregor's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him only a few times, but remember clearly how much I would look forward to seeing him. I felt his sense of humour, his big laugh, and his ability to make everyone laugh along with him made a huge impact on everyone he met, and that fantastic sense of humour is what I will remember about him. I am truly sorry for the loss for the McGregor family.

I was just informed of Duncan's passing, for which I am very sorry for the family. I marched with Duncan for many years with the E&K Scottish in Chatham. I have spoken lately with other past members of the regimental family of Duncan wondering where he was and how he was? To hear of this and not be able to speak with him one more time is hard. Please accept my deepest condolences at this time.

My deepest sympathy to Karen and family. I know your relationship with your father is a special one. I really enjoyed the stories you shared with me about your father's love of the "Tigers" and your family trips to Florida. Words are simply inadequate at times like this. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love, Heather
