Dear Sylvia, Darlene, Dave, Nathan, Jenna and Jalen, I'm very sorry for your loss and want you to know my family's thoughts are with you at this sad time. Some unexpected work commitments prevented my plans from paying my respects personally to you during today's visitation in Rodney. I will remember "Grandpa Bob" for the joy he took in the company of his grandchildren, and I know his presence will certainly be missed around the arena by you and his extended family of hockey fans. Sincerely, Mac Ruddock, on behalf of Callum, Dee and Emma

Dear Aunt Sylvia and family, We're sorry we are unable to be there at this time. I have some fond memories of my Uncle Bob while growing up. He was the one my parents used to make me behave or eat my veggies so I initially feared him. It wasn't until later on in my early adulthood that I began to see another gentler side of this man. I know his presence will be missed sincerely not only amongst our family but in your community. Uncle Bob had a lot of dignity and grace that many strive for but don't achieve. Our sincerest sympathies, blessings and love to you and your family. Love, Catherine, Gary, Rhiannon and Liam

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Although I only knew Bob through the South West work, he often spoke of a grand child that would make his face light up. My prayers are with the family.

Dear Sylvia and Family: I was so saddened to learn of Bob's passing. We will all miss Bob's smile, his hug and kiss and his sense of humour. Who will forget those eyes that sparkled when he knew there was a loose gavel around. I am happy I was able to enjoy the convention last summer with both of you and Rebecca. It was a special time and we certainly didn't realize at the time how special. My grandchildren too were sad to learn of Bob's passing. Bob was a great Kiwanian and will be missed by many of us who have enjoyed both of you in the past. I send my deepest sympathy Sylvia and you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Catherine
