Anyone who attended S.S. #15 Warwick P.S. during the 50's will probably remember our Red Cross meetings. We did the usual - took up a collection, read minutes from the previous meeting, but the highlight of this was the entertainment. Some pupils read poetry, told jokes, etc., but the best of all was Pete, singing his famous song "I had an F-O-R-D Ford". I can still hear him belting it out and to this day can remember all the words.

Let me express my condolences to the family of Pete (as i knew him). It has been over 40 years since I last saw Pete and Donna Mae, but i remember him well. He and I played fastball together at the ballpark west of the village when Carmen Ellerker coached out Warwick team, back in the early 1960's. Again, I wish you all well. Remember him, he was a good man..
