Obituary of Leonard Hughes

Peacefully but unexpectedly at St. Joseph's Hospice in Sarnia on Tuesday, January 18th, 2011. Leonard "Len" Edgar Hughes of Forest, age 82. Len is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Olive and by children Leonard Hughes (Janine Tucker), Lawrence Hughes (Mike Bower) and Leigh-Ann Hughes (Karen DeMoor). Len will be sadly missed by his grandsons Eric and Scott Hughes. Also survived by sister Marion Ince of London and sisters in law Clarice Hughes of Forest, Beanie Hughes of Thunder Bay, Alice Hughes of London. Predeceased by siblings Walter Hughes, Fred Hughes, Elmer Hughes and Bill Hughes and sister Peg Hughes. Predeceased by sister in law Rose Hughes and brothers in law Norm Ince and Art Hughes. Len will be remembered by many nieces and nephews and missed by his two dogs Libi and Lacy. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 20th, 2011 from 7-9pm at the FOREST CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS in Forest with Funeral Service in the chapel on Friday at 1pm with Rev. David Dyke officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations to the North Lambton Lodge Auxiliary or the St. Joseph's Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
