Obituary of Howard Hurdle

HURDLE Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, London on Monday, October 25th, 2010. Howard John Hurdle in his 86th year. Predeceased by his wife of 54 years Mary Kathleen (Giles) in 2004. Survived by his son Brian and daughter Darlene & Wayne Wagenaar. Predeceased by his parents John Franklin and Julia Ellen and brother Lloyd. Survived by his brother in law Leslie Giles of St. Thomas, Cliff and Ruth Giles of Greenway and Doreen Giles of Forest as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel, 212 Furnival Rd. on Thursday from 5-8 pm. Funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Friday at 2:30 pm. Pastor S. Patterson officiating. Howard was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and served our country during World War II. A memorial service will be conducted under the auspices of Rodney Legion Branch #525 on Thursday evening at 7 pm.
