Obituary of Minnie Livingstone

LIVINGSTONE Minnie Livingstone (McLean) of Crinan passed away peacefully at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in her 89th year. Born in Ekfrid Township, the daughter of Wellington and Edna McLean, Minnie came to Crinan as a teacher, married Gilbert (predeceased 1989) and became an active supporter of Argyle Presbyterian Church and the Crinan community. She is survived by her daughter Ruth Howard and her husband Larry; her treasured granddaughter Sharon Puente and her husband Neil; and her beloved great grandchildren Heather, Shauna and Ben Puente. Minnie is also survived by her sister-in-law Doris McLean; her brother-in-law Blake McGill and was predeceased by her brother Max McLean, her sister Audrey McGill, brother and sister-in-law Douglas and Georgina Livingstone, and will be missed by nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel on Friday where service will be held at 2:00 pm. Rev. Amanda MacMillan officiating. Interment Oakland Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to service.
