So very hard to believe this will be the 3rd Christmas that you are not going to be at our table in person I do know that you and dad will be there around us.I now believe the stars are in the sky as windows for those that went before us to look down and watch over us I feel you around me all the time, for that I am grateful. Not having you beside us has become a bit easier because now I can think of our memories we made and enjoy them with tears of joy not sadness and that has taken a lot to achieve.Stay with me mum and guide my attitude towards others, and help me think of them first. You will always be in my heart, give dad a big hug and kiss for Christmas 2012.A special guide from you to Mackenzie as she will be going to university 2013 and she will be in Toronto and knowing you will watch over her will make her being away from home a little easier.I love you now and always, your daughter with a tear in her eye but a smile on her face.Moira oxoxoox

Aunty Kitty was my Mam's eldest sister and though they lived a world apart, they were in constant touch with each other and kept all our families up to date with all the news. They both died within a very short time of each other. They have left us with a wonderful strong sense of the value of family and friendship. At this sad time we must celebrate the good memories they have left us with. They will be missed so much.

Kitty Hearty is a wonderful lady. Kitty always thought of others before herself. We remember all the great times up at the trailer park with Kitty. She would play shuffleboard with everyone, go to the dances and the campfires. Kitty we will never forget you.

She made the best empire cookies. She had the best stories from her years growing up in Scotland and those when she first arrived in Canada. She always had a smile and a hug to offer. She was always there to offer her help, but never in an interfering way. Her great grandsons will always remember GG for her Scottish accent and a home where they could do no wrong and were always welcome. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Kitty's friends and co-workers at University Hospital in London would like to offer sincere condolences to John, Moira and families. Kitty was a volunteer at U.H. for many years and her humour and work ethic were priceless. Kitty cared for everyone and this was evident in the number of turbans she made for cancer victims - I know they were all grateful for her thoughtfulness. Kitty was loved by all and we are so grateful for her long and happy life, surrounded by loving family. Rest in peace, Kitty - you will never be forgotten.

We wish to send our condolences to the family at the passing of Kitty. Dave and I played darts at the Victory Legion in London with Kitty, Moira, Wayne and Shannon. Kitty was a wonderful fun-loving lady. Dave thought she was a gutsy lady when she gave up her apartment and bought a mobile home. Also, he liked the fact that she bought herself a new car. Kitty was one of our favourite ladies. She was an inspiration to all and will live on in our hearts.

While my connection to Mrs.Hearty and her family dates back nearly 6 decades ago, my connection was really with her son John Hearty (junior)'Scottie' as we knew him then. His wife 'Fran' shared a class with me in High school (Sir Adam Beck). Time and circumstance, a few short years later, sent our lives on different paths. I was saddened to read of his Mother's passing. I simply wish to express my condolences. Jim Tiller.
