My most sincere condolences Al, on the passing away of Suzanne. My heart goes out to you and your family in this most difficult of times in one`s life. Suzanne`s vibrance remains with everyone she met and will remain with me for a long time. Although we had all lost touch over the years, the memories of her came flooding back as we began to talk at the CJOH reunion and I was saddened to hear of her illness. Gayle Morris

Dear Al and family,
Jane and I are thinking of you as you celebrate Suzanne's life. She was an extended member of the CJOH family who always opened up your home for those impromptu CJOH parties (which happend when Al brought the gang home.) Suzanne made us feel welcome and as we attempted to sing to whatever was on the record player - yes those machines which played discs made of vinyl). Al, it was good to see you at the CJOH reunion.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Guy Lepage and Jane Gilbert

Suzanne is one of those rare individuals, who could put anyone at ease right away.
Her red hair, wide smile and generous nature were her trademarks.
It's not hard to see why, when the McGregors lived in Ottawa, their home on Mayfair Avenue became the favourite place for CJOH newsroom parties, which always lasted long into the night.
Thank you Suzanne, for welcoming us with open arms, even when we arrived after midnight!

To Al and the McGregor family, A short note to say how sorry I am for your loss and that I am thinking of you and my fond memories of you and Suzanne. I didn't know her for a long time or very well, but what I remember I remember with fondness. She left memories behind, and they are good ones. Take care Brian

Dear Al, Shannon and Sean,
We have such wonderful memories of your arrival Halloween night on Mayfair Avenue when Sean was 3 and Shannon was 5 yrs. Suzanne was a great friend and neighbour. She loved her plants and she wanted to have more space to grow things. I was happy when you moved to the farm but sad to lose her. I have such wonderful memories or our friendship. We had great days with our little kids just hanging out in the backyards, Elmdale School and T-ball games. I especially remember us dragging home the superlarge piano crates from Lauzon Piano down Wellington St.into the our yards to make play houses for our kids. We shared a love of cats and our spoiled felines certainly made themselves comfy in both homes. Suzanne loved Shamus and he was the best collie dog short stop at St. Georges School Yard. I remember us all sitting in the backyard late into the night with Peter playing the guitar, singing 50's & 60's songs and enjoying a wee drop or two. Suzanne was such a big part of our life and we have so many memories of her love of family and generous nature. Take good care of each other. Love Geri

Al and family. Please accept my deepest condolence. I first met Suzanne at the CJOH-TV Christmas party. She had a great sense of humour. I wish I could be in West Lorne on Wednesday afternoon to raise a glass. But I will from here in Ottawa at that time. Take Care. Bucky Merkley
