Obituary of Charles Humphries

HUMPHRIES Charles Edwin Humphries, fondly known as "Edwin", passed away in his 102nd year on Wednesday, May 19th, 2010 peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. He was eldest child of John Humphries and Louisa (Marsh) Humphries of West Lorne. He is pre-deceased by his beloved wife of 65 hears, Laura (Vince) Humphries, of Fletcher. He will be lovingly remembered by his children--Clinton Humphries and Harvey Humphries of St. Thomas and Ronna Desmarais (nee Humphries) and husband Dave Desmarais of Gravenhurst; his grandchildren--Larry, Brent, Shannon, Sherry, David, Karen, Michelle, Michael, Marcey, Matthew; his great grandchildren: Blake, Bradley, Cody, Chris, Haleigh, Hanna, David, Stephen, Roger, Rachel, Josiah, Hannah, Jenna, Emily, Hollie, Clayton, Nathan, Liora, Caleb, Kayla, Brooke, Owen, Tessa, Veronica; his great-great grandchildren: Andrew, Arthur, Jonah, Judah Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel, 202 Main St. on Saturday, May 22nd, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted from the chapel on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Interment immediately following: Evergreen Cemetery. Flowers would be appreciated.
