Obituary of Katherine McCordic

Kay passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on Thursday, April 15th, 2010, at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her father Dr. Herbert Newton, her mother Serena Cowan and her brother Herbert Alexander (Pete). Kay taught elementary school at SS#11 Bosanquet Township and at several schools in Toronto. She enjoyed her summer home in Port Franks Ontario each year up to the summer of 2009. Kay will be remembered and missed by her many relatives and friends across Canada and in the United States. Kay's life will be celebrated at the FOREST CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 9 James St. South, Forest, Ontario on Sunday, April 25th, 2020.
