Obituary of Mary Malinowski

MALINOWSKI Surrounded by her family at LHSC Victoria Campus, London, on Thursday, April 1, 2010, Mary Malinowski of Birr (formerly of Rodney) in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Jan (February 9,2006). Deeply loved and cherished mother of Anna (Paul) Cox. Proud and loving grandmother to Christopher, Jason (Krista) and Sonya. Sadly missed by her sister Katherine (Walter) Janavicius of London and their children Alex (Lori) Janavicius and Christine (Andrew) Murray and their families. Ssister Zosia and brother Jozek and many nieces and nephews reside in Poland. Born in Wysoka, Poland on February 23, 1921 to the late Francisek and Anna Silka. Predeceased by her sister Aniela and brothers Jan, Stanislaw and Wladslaw all from Poland. Mary and her daughter arrived in Canada on January 25, 1951 to reunite with her husband who came here one year earlier settling in the Rodney area. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Monday, April 5th 3-5 and 7-9pm. where parish prayers will be offered at 7:30pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's RC Church, West Lorne on Tuesday at 11am. Interment Rodney Cemetery.
