HARPER, Mr. Lee Alvin May 25, 1929-March 17, 2010 Peacefully at home with his family by his side, March 17, 2010. Lee Alvin Harper of Forest passed away in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Dela (Pickering) and loving father of Bonnie (Jim) Darisi of Sarnia, Darcy (Gloria) Harper of Brockville, Teresa (Blake) Finnemore of Forest. Cherished Papa of Mike, Vinny, Brittney, Arin, Kyle, Christina (Ryan) Laporte, Mike, Ryan, Megan, and Dawson. Predeceased by grandson Trevor King and parents George and Ethel (Haskell) Harper. Survived by 12 brothers and sisters Allan (Gladys) Harper, Velma (late Mike) Ring, Maxena (Frank) Sylvester, Merle (late Stan) Moore, Ralph (Frances) Harper, Leroy Harper (Elda Frayne), Murray Harper, Fay (Ron) Canton, Fern (late Donald) Sutton, Lois (Gerald) Milner, Reid (Linda) Harper, Raymond (late Diane) Harper and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the FOREST CHAPEL of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 9 James St. S., Forest, on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the FOREST CHAPEL of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 9 James St. S., Forest, on Friday afternoon, March 19, 2010, at 2:00 pm with Rev. Marilyn Townsend-Smith officiating.
