Obituary of Stuart Marsh

Stuart Rutherford Marsh; November 11th, 1929 " November 11th, 2009. On his 80th birthday, after a truly blessed life and with his whole family present passed into the arms of his Beloved Saviour. Stuart was the son of the late Wilbur and Mary. He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Dorothy (Stoner), his children Gary and wife Karen, Jim and wife Liz, Marilyn Akey, Robert and wife Marian, Stephen and wife Sharon, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Survived by sister Jean Sherlock, brothers Stanley and Harold Marsh. Stuart is predeceased by son-in-law Gerry Akey and brother Frank Marsh. He spent most of his career at DuPont from which he took an early retirement in 1985. This was followed by a career selling cars and driving a school bus in the Forest area; and starting and operating Hungry Hollow Donuts in Forest. Visitation will be held at the FOREST CHAPEL of Denning Funeral Directors on Friday, November 13th, 2009 from 1-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will take place at the Forest Baptist Church (19 Prince St.) on Saturday, November 14th at 2pm with visitation one hour prior (1-2pm) with Pastor Bob Lewis and Pastor Laurie Morris officiating. Interment to follow at Arkona Cemetery. Donations to the LHSC University Campus Transplant Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family.
