Obituary of Roy Johnston

Johnston At Bobier Villa, Dutton on Saturday morning, September 5th, 2009. Roy Andrew Johnston of Dutton and formerly of West Lorne in his 81st year. Born in Aldborough Township, Roy was an Electrician and Plumber for many years. Loving husband of Betty (Petherick) and father of John Johnston of West Lorne and Mary Margaret Johnston-Miller (James) of Ottawa. Roy is survived by his sisters Hazel Graham of Toronto and Eva Cook of Wardsville. Predeceased by his brothers Donald (2003), Leslie (1944) and Chester (1963) and sisters Mildred Horton (2003) and Jean Johnston (2009). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the West Lorne Chapel, 202 Main St. on Tuesday, September 8th, 2009 from 6-9 pm followed by a celebration of Roy's life on Wednesday at 11 am with Pastor R. Karn officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Elgin-St.Thomas or Bobier Villa would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
