Obituary of Joan Preece

Peacefully at the Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital of Bluewater Health in Petrolia on Friday, June 12th, 2009. Joan Elizabeth Preece of Watford in her 86th year. Predeceased by her parents Douglas and Elizabeth Callard. Survived by children David Allan (Eleanor) Preece of Watford, Susan Jeanette Deauvall of St. Thomas and Leonard Charles (Barbara) Preece of St. Thomas. Sadly missed by grandchildren Michael, Martin, Adam, Angela, Amanda and Lisa and great grandchildren Tyler, Meagan, Ashley, Cody, Mackenzie, Zac and Elissa, Samantha and Alex. Predeceased by siblings Sonny, George, Harry, Gwen and Dorothy. Also predeceased by ex-husband Donald Preece. A past member of the Watford Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Watford Friendship Club. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, June 20th, 2009 at 11am from the Watford United Church with visitation two hours prior (9-11). Interment to follow at Watford Cemetery. Pastor Fred Darke officiating. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
