Obituary of Kay Tilley

Peacefully at North Lambton Lodge surrounded by her family, Kay Tilley of Forest in her 91st year. Kay is predeceased by her loving husband Douglas (1972). Kay is survived by children Roger (Penny) of Burlington, Jim (Pam) of Bright's Grove, David (Lil) of Calgary and Laurie (Brian) Tidball of Bright's Grove. Sadly missed by grandchildren Kathy (James), Chris, Crystal, Chelsey, Doug, Sandra, Brianne (Steve) and Ashley and great Nana to Keira and Kaitlyn. Survived by brother Eric Smith of Brighton England and many nieces and nephews. Kay was a proud lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, 1st Hussars Auxiliary, and received the Bishops Award for Excellence in Ministry" from the Anglican Church for her volunteer work with Forest Contact House. Memorial Service will be held at the Forest Chapel of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS (James at Watt St.) on Friday May 8th, 2009 at 2pm with visitation one hour prior (1-2pm). Interment will take place in Listowel at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Contact House in Forest would be greatly appreciated by the family.
