My dear brother, Garry - You are gone from this earth, but not from my heart. As a child, I protected and sheltered you from your mischievious ways. I will miss your great sense of humor and the way you made me laugh. No one will ever be able to do the limbo like you! I am so very thankful to have had you for my brother, for the vacations we spent together, and for our special "brother and sister talks". I so much hoped to see you again once I recovered from my surgery. I miss you so much for a part of me has gone with you. You will never be gone from my mind. My brother, my friend, I love you more than words can say!

For as long as I can remember, it's always been "Deb and Garry"...hard to imagine that Garry's really gone. But we've got a lifetime of great memories, stories and laughter to remember him by. He fought long and hard, and surprised all of us--and he enjoyed himself right up to the end. Thinking of you, Deb, especially on Saturday--wish I could be with you in person.
Love and prayers from Dublin, Murray

Uncle Garry - I never called you "uncle" because as a small child, you told me it made you feel old. I never had the opportunity to live close to you, but you and Deb were always close at heart. I will always remember you as kind-hearted. You were one of the best! You gave so much, but asked for nothing in return. From the time I was a small child, you were a rock for my mother, your sister, Madonna. I love you, Uncle Garry! Thanks for being you. It makes me very sad to know I will never see you again. At least, not in this life.
My husband, Ron, and I send the "Rose" family our deepest sympathy. Aunt Deb, our thoughts are with you today and always. Uncle Gary was very fortunate to have you in his life.
Love & Best Wishes,
Gayle & Ron Small
