Obituary of Fred Jamieson

Peacefully with family at his side on Thursday, January 8th, 2009 at North Lambton Lodge after a lengthy illness. Frederick William Duffus Jamieson of Forest in his 86th year. Fred is survived by his loving wife Betty and children Bob (Connie) Jamieson of Forest, Bill (Rosemary) Jamieson of Forest and Bonnie (John) Shields of Chatham and predeceased by daughter Barbara Ann (1952). Fred will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Scott, Mike, Juliane and Lindsay, Laura, Brad and Chris and Matthew and 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Albert (1959) and Edna (1969) Jamieson. Fred proudly served on Canadian Soil during WWII. Funeral service will be held at DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS-Forest Chapel on Monday, January 12th, 2009 at 2pm with visitation 2 hours prior (12-2pm) with Pastor Bob Lewis and Pastor Laurie Morris officiating. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. Forest Legion, Br. #176 will conduct a service at 11:45am on Monday. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
