Obituary of Peter Rombouts

Surrounded by his loving family, at his residence in Thedford, June 05, 2008, Peter Joseph Rombouts in his 61st year, passed away peacefully. Cherished husband and best friend of Jane (Smeekens). Beloved father of Peter and Lisa (Thedford), Joanne (Vancouver), Donna and Rob VandeWetering (Adelaide), Amanda (London), Kevin (Thedford), and special friend of Kevin and family, Jamie Mulligan. Loving Grandfather of Derek, Kirsten, Morgan, and Erica. Brother of Jacoba and Henry Peters (Thedford), Adrian and Mary(Strathroy), Annie and Adrian Heyblom (Forest), Case (Mount Brydges),Tony and Joanne (Arkona). Son-in-law of Jack and Wilma Smeekens (Forest). Brother-in-law of Frank and Karen Smeekens (Grand Bend), Lia and Mark Schepers (Parkhill), Pete and Nell Smeekens (Grand Bend), El and Bart Leenders (St.Pauls), Jim and Anita Smeekens(Strathroy). Uncle Pete will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Adrian (1967), and Elizabeth (2000) Rombouts. Visitation will be held at St. Christopher's Catholic Parish (68 Union St.) in Forest on Sunday, June 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Christopher's Catholic Parish on Monday, June 9th, 2008 at 11am with Fr. Gerard Bedard celebrant. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
