Carl: Presley (6 yrs.) and I will find a black hole in our hearts forever whenever we think of you. From the enclosed ramp you constructed so that I might enter the West Lorne United Church, winter or summer to the empathetic talks you would enter about my particular plight. When newcomer Presley went to church with his "Nan" he was standoffish to people's very friendly advances. Carl, you would come up to me and show Presley what a smiling, happy friend you were to me. It was no wonder that when it came time to sound the church bell, or take your hand to walk up to the front for children's story (because you knew the struggle it would have been for me to bring him forward Presley even had second-guessing when I tried to bring him to story time) that Presley trusted, liked and admired you enough to comply with your urgings. Always you will hold a special twinkling in both of our hearts.
