Selflessly, out of the blue, a few years ago, David, who was an elementary school mate of mine, whom I had not seen in 40 years, shows up at my house at the behest of a mutual friend, and for no charge at all, puts up drywall and mud and does my basement bedroom room proper, and then leaves and I never hear from him again. Of all the things to happen to me in my life, this was the single kindest gesture I could imagine.
I am horribly upset at this news.
David is just asleep, however, and will be walking around on a lush green earth soon.
I know we will be friends again.

We are so shocked to hear of David's death and immediately think of Dennis and Kim. We have known Dennis and David since Merle brought them into the family over 40 years ago. In these latter years we have seen how close and supportive these brothers are and mostly, how much fun they have always had together. We awarys heard stories of how David and Dennis's family were enjoying life and each other.
Kim and Dennis, we are so sorry for your loss.

We are saddened and shocked to hear of Dave's passing. A happier guy could not be found. I Remember him as a little guy......always giggling and laughing. Dave was always ready for a party, especially with Dennis around. Two brothers could not be closer friends than David and Dennis. I pray that the days ahead will be made easier for Kim, Patricia, Dennis, Jennifer, Laura and Christine by the love and fond memories of David, among family and friends. See you Tuesday. Love Darlene and Gary

Dave, Dennis and my lives crossed for a brief but fun filled time many yrs ago, but I will always remembered his laughter and wit and amazing smile! Dennis so sorry for your loss, I know from life experience losing your bro is losing a piece of yourself and life is never the same again! But love lives on so keep his laughter and fun spirit alive in your heart every moment of every day and he will always be with you, I know how close you two were! And Kim and Patricia, may all your wonderful memories of him help comfort you as you deal with this very sad " twist of fate", so very sorry for your loss!! "Life ain't always beautiful" Sincerly, Heather

It was with great shock and sadness to hear of Dave's passing. His laughter and great sense of humour will be missed. The memories of Dave with Rick, Dayna and Quentin will live long in my memories . He could always be counted on to help or to be a good friend. Dave will always be remembered for his larger than life personality and the laughter we experienced in his company. The pain that Dave's passing will leave, for his family and friends, will eventually ease with the memories we all have of Dave living each day to the fullest. You will never be forgotten.

I am still trying to grasp this very sad news. My memories, and there were many of Dave was laughter. I do not remember a time he was not smiling and happy. I can hear his laugh. His side kick and best friend (and brother) always close by. You just could not have a bad time in Davids company. My heart goes out to his wife, Kim and family. a great loss to all that knew him.
