SHEA: Margaret “Dorothy”

At North Lambton Lodge, Forest on Friday, November 16^th, 2018 in her 93^rd year. Margaret Dorothy Shea of Watford. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Glen Shea (2013) for 66 years. They were married on July 8th, 1947 and lived in Watford all their married lives. Dorothy’s parents were Alex and Anne Campbell. Predeceased by her brother Kenneth (Rena) Campbell. Dorothy began teaching at the age of eighteen in a one room school and moved to Watford where she taught for over thirty years. She enjoyed golf with the Ladies League in Forest and also after retirement in Florida.

Dorothy is survived by 10 nieces and nephews; Eileen Reynolds, Roger (Helen) Campbell, Beth Haryett, Leta Millard, Kevin (Shawn) Campbell, Bill (Joan) Shea, Beth (Murray) Karr, Anne (Chuck) St. Louis, Sheila (Marty) Banninga and Dave (Paula) Shea. Dorothy was very appreciative of all the love and support from her nieces and nephews over the years.

The family would like to thank the staff at Brookside Retirement Living and North Lambton Lodge for their care and support over the years.

Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF WATFORD on Tuesday, November 20^th, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Rev. Carey Wagner officiating. A private family interment to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
