At Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, March 1st, 2014, John Edward McColl of RR#1 Rodney in his 96th year. Lovingly remembered by his wife Marie Crocker-McColl. Dear father of Katie (Donald) Congo of Highgate, Neil (Shirley) McColl of RR#1 Rodney and Don (Nancy) McColl of RR#1 Rodney and grandfather of Karen (Jeremy) Farmer of Houston, Texas, Allan James Congo of London, Jeff (Heather) McColl, Jenny (Ryan) Ayling, Julie (Kurtis) Ginzel all of Rodney, Jared (Liz) McColl of Lambeth and Jordan McColl of Rodney and great grandchildren Austin Farmer, Marley and Mason McColl, Luke Ayling, Avery and Gracyn Ginzel and Caleb McColl. Step father of Cyril (Anita) Crocker, David (Mary-Ellen) Crocker, Denise (Glenn) Geroux, Phyllis (Willie) Knost, Fred (Patty) Crocker and Estelle Crocker (Tom Drennan). Predeceased by his wife Susie (Parney) in 1996, his children Edward, Barbara Jean and Malcolm and brother Bert and sister Catherine Gordon. John was a jack of all trades and well known far and wide for his love of music and entertaining. He was a talented performer who played the fiddle from the age of twelve until last Wednesday. Friends may call at the RODNEY CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Monday, March 3rd, 2014 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the chapel on Tuesday at 2 pm. Rev.
