I am sorry for you loss; I remember your Dad well, from visiting your mother Blanche. The first time I met him, I was coming to visit Blanche after her accident - and came to the door - to hear a "Hello!" from up above...Was God speaking?? :) No, there was Ken, up a tree, cutting some limbs off! May you know God's peace and comfort at this time.

As I sit here and picture Uncle Ken as I remember him, I see a few things. I see the kitchen at the farm and I see Aunt Blanche standing by the fridge with a big smile on her face. I also see a clown cookie jar and a jar of instant coffee sitting on the table. Now I see Uncle Ken. Sitting at the head of the table with his legs crossed with a coffee in front of him. His hardworking and weather-beaten face has the biggest smile on it and a laugh that is only his own. His kindness has been planted forever in in my memories and heart. Love, Betty
