Thank you Dalt for your tireless efforts put forth to establish what Bluewater Girls hockey has become. We thank you for you for not only being there, but sitting upstairs watching us not only grow as hockey players but to build the special bond with our teammates and the love of the of the game. We will cherish your warm smiles and friendly hellos in passing at the arena and continue to wear our Bluewater hawks crest proud as we remember our biggest supporter.
May your rest in peace and continue to love the game of hockey which you have provided for not only the girls of Bluewater but to the many families and friends that cheer them on; on and off the ice.

Bev and family, So sorry to hear of Dalt's passing. He was such a wonderful man. My daughter Jill and I have many great memories of Dalt.as I'm sure many hockey players do. He was manager for her Bluewater Hawks team for many years. I think he would be the only hockey manager who also darned socks! I will miss seeing him at the arena. God bless, Brenda

Yesterday we lost a great man, the greatest Bluewater Hawk of all time. You created a place for girls to play the game they loved, you created an organization that has grown and thrived for 25 years, you built confidence and wisdom in many young ladies that took their knowledge far beyond the rink , and you created a family that I am so proud to have been a part of. Dedicated, driven, selfless, and an absolute gentleman you were. I will never forget your big heart, unlimited supply of licorice back when we were kids, and the smile you always had for each and every Hawk that stepped foot on the ice. Our Bluewater Hawks family has suffered the greatest loss of the season, but will remember and honour the man who gave us our start. Thank you for everything Dalt.
My sincere condolences to Dalt's entire family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

To the Richardson Family,
Many heartfelt condolences on the passing of Dalt.
I first met Dalt some 25 years ago during the early development stages of the Bluewater Hawks Girls Hockey. Some 2 years later when my daughter Cheryl was 12 she expressed an interest to play Bluewater hockey. Thus began our relationship with Dalt.
A couple of years after that I was fortunate to be elected as the president of Bluewater. With Dalt at the helm as treasurer we, along with others, created a safe enjoyable environment for girls of Lambton and Middlesex counties to play hockey.
Dalt was very instrumental in his passion for the game and desire to find a place and team for every girl that wanted to play.
When the Bluewater girls were playing hockey, no matter at what arena in the province, you could usually find Dalt. His support for all of them goes without mentioning, as he always had kind words for them.
Dalt will truly be missed by all that knew him, but I can assure you he will not be forgotten.
I find myself fortunate, and I speak for my daughter Cheryl as well, that we had the chance to spend so many great years and great memories with Dalt.
Rest In Peace Dalt
To his family we, and all the Bluewater family, share in your loss.
Kindest Regards,
Terry Nield
Past President
Bluewater Hawks, G.H.A.

Our Deepest Sympathy to Dalt's family and friends.
Dalt was a great guy and he had a great passion for his family, hockey and fixing bikes.
We will miss him dearly as a friend in hockey - he enjoyed being at the arena,
helping out wherever he could - as an executive member, taking stats, recruiting players,
driving players to the arena, bringing snacks for the team players, attending tournaments
galore and so much more ! His respect and admiration for the game will be missed.
He was a volunteer that could fill any position and we loved traveling with him to and from tournaments.
We admired his passion for the game!
We were also honored to have him visit our store when in need of bike parts and lots of times just
a friendly visit, talk, smile, laugh and talk hockey. We bid you farewell "Dalt" - we know that you will
dearly missed - but always be there for your family and oversee those skaters at the rink.
Thank you Dalt for all that you did for everyone !
