I shed tears of both sarrow and joy as Glenn journeys in the light of peace and contentment. What great sarrow for your loss, but how joyest to have been loved. My condolences to family and friends.

Tough loss. Glenny always looking out for family, friends , and co-workers ... a top shelf father & railroader following Grant , Donny , great uncle Hugh and Bunny into the family trade.
Was fortunate to spend time on and off the track with you back in the bolted rail pick up - miss those 39 footers- and lift gang days . .. and blessed to spend precious moments together in recent years with you and Donna wIth hockey events and medical fundraising.
Between my controlled draw ( not snap hook) , Your power fade ( not to be confused with a wicked slice ) and having the pleasure of working on most sidings in the province we - as railroaders and enthusiastic golfers - got to see beautiful real estate some may never see.
Keep an eye out for us . Love Dave, Rona , Mark and Michael .

Donna and Family -
My family and I send our sincere condolences to you and your family.
I knew Glenn since the mid 1980's where we worked together on night shift.
It was actually fun to come to work when Glenn was on the job. If I could describe briefly what Glenn meant to me:
Glen was a kind, thoughtful, hard working, family man who was well respected by all his peers. Glen was one of the most professional, talented, competent, efficient, Locomotive Engineers I've known.
I remember receiving an email notification back in October regarding Glenn approaching his 45th year of service on December 2017 (Glen hired on at CN on December 27, 1972). After I read the notification, I reflected on some of the moments Glenn and I had worked together, both as unionized employees and Trainmasters - good times with a great guy.
My sincere condolences,
Larry Karn & Family

Glen was always cool with me. Always asked me what my problem was when I was a troubled youth and to smarten the hell up. Life is to short he told me after a smack upside the head and get off in the house. He was a strong influence in my life when I didn have much. Cheers Glen..

I am so saddened to hear of Glenn's passing. Although I did not see him over the past month, on all accounts from those that did, he faced his illness with the calm, steady and practical approach he has been known for. My heart breaks for you my friend at this very sad time but I am comforted to know you are surrounded by such great family and friends. The spasters +1 love you.
