I am writing this for my grandmother, Evangeline Werden. When I told her of Jeanne's passing, she was shocked and saddened. Vannie said that Jeanne was always good to her. They had a great friendship and made many memories, that Vannie will keep within her heart. Please accept Vannie's condolences to the family of such a wonderful lady. She is sorry she could not make it out as she is not very mobile herself. Jeanne will be missed immensely by her and our family.

Jeanne was such a joy to meet whether in the grocery store or when at a dance her husband was playing or when they came on a snowmobile to our home etc.. Though we've only known Jean since moving to Watford 6 years ago, she was a wonderful neighbour, kind, so very friendly and one of the most active seniors we've ever known. It is with great sadness that we ;learn of Jeanne's passing. The Watford community has lost a bright, caring light! Our sympathy is with her wonderful family.Jeanne was a neighbour girl who came to our home to play before I was even in school. Jeanne mothered me when I began school as a shy, timid, frightened 5 year old.She sat with me to be certain I ate lunch and then helped me get ready to go out to play. She watched and protected me on the playground. This has been a characteristic of Jeanne as she cared for her husband and family and all whom she knew. She will be missed serving the senior's meals and in so many other areas in the Watford community. Her faith was evident as she prayed and requested prayer for others. One Day King Jesus is worthy To be praised and adored And one day I’ll forever Put down shield and sword And my Loving Creator Who lends me every breath Will joyfully greet me When my eyes close in death And He’ll grace my head With a crown of pure peace And the battle will end The great struggle will cease. Until then, we fight the good fight of faith!

My condolences goes out to the family of Jean. I have very fond memories with Jean. I remember when i left Libro cleaning and i said to Jean one day. Can I come and work with you at Rotary. She said I can sure use you. I thing I found with Jean she loved her Roast Beef dinners. I am going to miss Jean so much. Jean was so active with this community. We are sure going to miss Jean.
