Lorraine - I am pretty sure we are not supposed to have favourite patients/ clients but Dan will forever stand out in my mind as a highlight of my career. Working with Dan and meeting you and your family was a privilege. I don't know if I ever shared with you how much the lady at the Herb Farm valued Dan's contribution, work ethic, interest and admired his singing voice. His infectious smile and directness always made for a great session with him. There were many great lines. I recall the two of you looking gorgeous (maybe when you were still living in Old South?) and your were both in 'matching' black puffy ski jackets. I have no doubt why that stands out as a great image, but you were always right there for him and that went a LONG way, helping him after his accident. I also recall you needing to correct his OT..I think he was very accurately humming the tune to the Pink Floyd song and incorrectly called that Another Brick in the Wall (Queen?) but it was from The Wall. Dan new I didn't have it quite right and I think you had to shout the answer to me from another room! I have many memories of his perseverance and positive attitude, and humour. I'm sure our paths will cross in GB/ Port Franks often. Know that my thoughts and prayers continue to be with you - Nancy
