Obituary of Gerard Williams

Peacefully at Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petrolia on December 24th, 2016; Gerard Williams passed away at the age of 91. Dear husband of the late Lina Williams (2006). Loving father of Marie (Renald) Bégin of West Lorne, Jean-Guy (Carrie) Williams of Port Huron, Fernand “Chico” (Joanne) Williams of Wyoming, Gisèle (John Dam) Kerrigan of Wyoming, Janice (Lonnie) Cope of Petrolia, Rheal Williams of Edmonton and Leonard (Lisa) Williams of Wyoming. Cherished Grandpa of 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Survived by his siblings Uris (late Azélie), Adélard (Françine), Régina (Blaise) Gionet, Gérarda “Lyda” (late Freddy) Arsenault, Aldéa and Angella (Normand) Robichaud. Predeceased by his granddaughter Stephanie (1992) and siblings Cécile, Lucie, Maria, Camille and Irénée Williams. Gerard was a member of the Carpenter’s Union Local 1256 for 58 years. Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF WATFORD on Friday, December 30th, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 12 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
