Obituary of Hendrik de Boer

Hendrik “Henk” de Boer was born in Pesse, Drente, the Netherlands on December 23, 1951. He passed away peacefully on Friday July 3, 2015 at his home in Watford, Ontario after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Jennie de Boer (Boersma) for 34 years. Loving father of Tineke (Kees) Duizer, Wiebren de Boer (Leanne Kersbergen). He will also be missed by the joy of his life, his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Riley, and Caden Duizer. Predeceased by his parents Wietse and Jantje (Kip) de Boer, parents-in-laws Harm and Tryntje (Okken) Boersma and brother-in-law Frits Boersma. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Elisabeth (Aart) Mulder, Albert (Aly) de Boer, Kineke (Bart) Scholing, Tjibbe (Hennie) de Boer, Anje (Rick) Boer, Hennie (Be) Vellinger, Wietse-Jan, Bernardus (Diederiek) de Boer, Heintje (Roelof) Bouwmeester, Yme Boersma, Jannie Boersma, and Joke (Geert) Tuin. Also remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation to be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Providence United Reformed Church (447 Second Street, Strathroy) from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
