As the Goodwill Rep. for the Retired Women Teachers of Ont., Elgin Division, I made monthly visits to Helen after she moved into Caressant Care. I enjoyed these visits very much and will certainly miss her.She was always so bright and cheery - she reminded me of a little bird. My deepest condolences to the family. May she rest in peace. Sincerely, T. Sherratt

I will remember Aunt Helen as one of the brightest lights in our family. Always cheerful and laughing, she was a family jewel. It is with deepest regrets that I will be unable to attend services for her. My thanks to Janet and Brock Barrett for attending her faithfully in her final years.

This morning when I read the London Paper I noticed the death of my public school teacher Helen Plyley. This was in the forties. I attended Blow,s P.S S.S#6 in East Oxford Township from 1939 -1947.Following Public and High School I went to the Brantford General Hospital and followed a nursing career.I was nmarried in 1958 and lived in Ridgetown for 49 years. We moved to Tillsonburg last September as we have three children and one daughter and son-in-law live in Tillsonburg with two grandsons. One daughter and son-in-law live in Woodstock with their two children so we are enjoying our grandchildren. We have a little farm near Rodney and I should have looked up Miss Plyley. I remember her as a plesant teacher who was not very tall but well thought of and respected. I am sending this note out of sympathy and respect. It would appear she lived a long and happy life. Sincerely, Marlene Baldwin.
