Obituary of Dorothy Joyce
JOYCE, DOROTHY JEAN (nee Knight)
Peacefully at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig on Friday, December 7th, 2012. Dorothy Jean Joyce (nee Knight) of Rodney at the age of 84. Dorothy is predeceased by her husbands John Nagy (1996) and Earl Joyce (1995). Dorothy is survived by her children Bonnie McDonald (Dave), Mary Lou McCarthy (Owen), Bob Nagy (Linda), Yvonne Wilcox (Mark), Joe Nagy (Kim) and David Nagy (Frances). Dorothy will be sadly missed by her 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Survived by her mother-in-law Annie Joyce. Sister-in-law of Frank (Joanne) Nagy, Bill Nagy, Joe (Devona) Nagy, Mabel Whale, Grace (Richard) Foskett, Jean Steinhoff, Sandra (Pete) Cochrane, Jim Joyce, Ruth (Henry) Mooser and Dennis (Sheila) Joyce. Dorothy is predeceased by grandson Tom Moorby, brothers-in-law Keith, William and Kenneth Joyce, Gord Whale, George Steinhoff and sister-in-law Sheila Nagy. Dorothy was a proud and devoted member of the Rodney Eastern Star, Rodney Lions Club and the Rodney Legion BR. #525. Visitation will be held at the RODNEY CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Tuesday, December 11th, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Rodney Lions Club will lead a memorial service on Tuesday evening at 6pm followed by the Eastern Star ADAH Chapter conducting a memorial service at 6:15pm and a Legion Service under the auspices of Rodney Legion Br. #525 at 6:30pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1pm with interment to follow at Rodney Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
