Obituary of Keith Marr

Keith Harold Marr passed away at Beattie Haven, Wardsville, ON on Friday, November 16, 2012 in his 82nd year. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Joan Isabel (2010) and is survived by his son, John Marr (Donna Rae), and daughter Andra Alford; grand-daughters Emma and Rebecca and grandson, Jeremy; sister-in-law Joyce Marr (Earl); nephew Tom Marr (Deb) and nieces Debra and Earlene; brother-in-law Donald McKillop (Betty), niece Beth McLellan (Doug). Predeceased by his brother Earl and his parents Harold and Eva Marr. Keith was born March 6, 1931 in West Nissouri Twp, ON. Lived in West Lorne and began his teaching career in 1950 in Aldborough Twp, Elgin County. Upon moving to Toronto with Joan, he continued a lengthy teaching career with the Toronto Board of Education until his retirement in 1986. He chose to live out his days back home pursuing his passion of farming. He is a member of West Elgin Masonic Lodge #386 and was the lodge historian. Friends may call at the WEST LORNE CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Tuesday, November 20th, 2012 from 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the chapel on Wednesday at 1 pm. Rev.
