Danica Lynne Wilson

Surrounded by her family on October 17, 2024, Danica Lynne Wilson passed away peacefully at the age of 53. Danica was devoted wife of Jeff Wilson for 31 incredible years. She was the loving and supportive mom of Fraser (Mikayla) and Liam (Chris). Danica is survived by her brother Mike (Patty) Fraser. She was predeceased by her parents Dan and Sharon Fraser. Danica is also survived by her siblings-in-law Joe (Mary Kay) Wilson and Julie (Jeff) White, and her parents-in-law John and Judy Wilson. She will be missed dearly by her special niece Ashley Shipman. Danica will be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Danica was a passionate nurse who truly loved what she did. She touched the lives of many people all throughout her community. Danica had a great sense of humour and loved to have a good time. She was a free spirit and brought smiles to everyone. Danica loved to spend her time in the garden, travelling, and camping. She took any opportunity to learn and expand her knowledge. Danica will be remembered as a wise, strong willed, and dedicated woman.

Danica’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Tsvetkova and Team at the London Regional Cancer Clinic, Dr. Kim and Dr. Poole and the St. Joseph’s Palliative Team, the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Team, and Nurse Patty at Bayshore Healthcare.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 2, 2024, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at DENNING’S OF WATFORD. Words of Remembrance to be shared at 2:30pm.

In memory of Danica, donations may be made to the VON (Victorian Order of Nurses) or to the London Regional Cancer Clinic.
