She is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews. Dolly was predeceased by her parents Merton and Maude Bryce, and her infant brother Carmen Bryce, sister Anna Jean Bryce, and sister Kay Harper.
Following the passing of Maude, Merton, Anna Jean and Dolly moved to Sumac Lodge (formerly Bestview). Sumac became their home in January of 1984, and was Dolly’s home for 40 years. It was here that Dolly was given the opportunity to participate with members of the community in an inclusive environment where she wasn’t singled out. Dolly spent numerous hours over many years at Wawanosh, which brought her so much joy.
