Obituary of Melvin Arnel

Peacefully at North Lambton Lodge on January 17, 2024, Melvin Arnel passed away at the age of 91. Melvin was predeceased by his loving wife Betty Arnel. He was the proud father of Lyle (the late Jennifer) Arnel and Mary-Ellen (the late Glenn) Wilson. Melvin was the cherished grandpa of Kayla Wilson and Jordan Wilson (Nicole Ready). He was predeceased by his siblings Cecil (Marjorie) Arnel, Frances (the late Eldon) Bright, Ernie (Norma) Arnel, and Ellen (the late Gary) Chambers. 

Melvin loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed making maple syrup, cutting grass, and spending time in the garden. Melvin worked for CN for over 30 years. 

A private family service has taken place. 

In memory of Melvin, donations may be made to North Lambton Lodge or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
