Obituary of Joseph Gordon Weaver

It is with heavy hearts the family of Joseph “Joe” Gordon Weaver announces his passing on July 31^st, 2023 at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Cheryl Weaver for 35 wonderful years. Loving father of Brad, Josh (Shannon) and Jake (Alyssa). Proud grandpa of Mattaya, Weston, Jamie, Nolan, Mia and Brynnlee. Cherished son of Leah and the late Frank Weaver (1994). He will be missed by his siblings Walter Weaver, Marilyn Thomson, James (Terry) Weaver, Esther (John) Fraser, Alfred (Nancy) Weaver, Tom (Kim) Weaver and Dorothy (Dave) Lock. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family Bill (Sue) Elliott. Predeceased by his baby brother Robert Weaver. Son-in-law of Harley and Dorothy Wilcocks, brother-in-law of Harold (Trish) Wilcocks and Charlotte Wilcocks. He will be missed by many extended family members and friends.

Joe was a very hard worker, working in the oil wells for over 35 years. He had a passion for working and tinkering on old Ford tractors. Joe loved spending time with his sons fishing.

A visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF WATFORD on August 10^th, 2023 from 1-3pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will take place the following day on August 11^th, 2023 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery. A luncheon will take place following the burial.
