Van Haaren, Adrien Lambertus “Joe”

It is with heavy hearts the family of Adrianus Lambertus (Joe) Van Haaren announces his passing on Friday, July 28^th, 2023 in his 94th year. 

Beloved husband of the late Anna Maria (Van Balkom) for 65 years. Cherished Father of Marj Irwin (Sam), Pete Van Haaren, Anne Marie Wouters (Herwig), Joe Van Haaren (Deb), Connie Van Haaren (Paul). Loving Opa of Scott (Steffanie), Julia (Catherine), Jeremy (Lisa), Pam, Brendan (Tracy), Michelle (Brett), Stuart (Stephanie), Jodi (DJ), Chad (Christine), Josh (2009), Jake (Jane) and Kirk. Opa will be missed by his 16 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Johannes Van Haaren and Maria Williems.

Joe spent the majority of his life farming and he loved the outdoors. Once Joe retired he spent many hours gardening and manicuring his yard. Tending to his pigeons and feeding the birds brought him much joy. Striking up a conversation was something he enjoyed immensely. 

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Lambton Meadowview Villa (Raven Court) for their excellent and compassionate care.

At this time, there will be a private family funeral for Joe with the interment taking place at Our Lady Help of Christians. The family would be grateful, in lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF WATFORD.
