Obituary of Robert Stuart McCabe

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Robert McCabe on April 11th, 2023, at the age of 70. Loving husband of Sheila McCabe for 52 wonderful years. Cherished father of Christie McCabe (Rob Nettleton) and the late Steven McCabe (1992). Predeceased by his parents Donald and Jessie McCabe, Stan and Ruth Barry and brother Ronald McCabe. Robert will be missed by his best fur bud, Harley. He will be fondly remembered by the McCabe and Barry families.

Robert was a dedicated husband and father, family was his everything. He had a passion for motorcycles and riding his Harley, he loved fishing, camping, and being outdoors. Robert was a long-time active Watford Legion member and will surely be missed by everyone at Branch 172.

A Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF WATFORD on Friday April 14^th, 2023 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday April 15th, 2023, at 11:00am with interment to follow at the Watford Catholic Cemetery. A reception will take place following the burial at the Watford Legion, Branch 172.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
