My deepest sympathies to the Cooper and Douglas families during this time of great loss. I have known Karen for a long time - starting back when our mothers played ball in Warwick for the blue and fuschia team whose name escapes me.... Then it was our turn to run the bases, and I played with Karen both in Warwick and in Watford throughout the years. Always a quiet soul who packed a huge punch behind the bat! May your many good memories bring you some comfort during this difficult time.

To Darcy, Sam, Brent and family
Our deepest condolences to your family, on the sudden and very unexpected passing of Karen, we were all in total disbelieve because we didn't know anything until I seen Karen's picture and then seen it was attached to her obituary....we are still trying to wrap our minds about everything...our hearts are breaking for your whole family.
Darcy and family please remember that you have 48 years worth of full stories, adventures, memories of Karen (a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, friend, coworker, neighbor) and so much more that became treasured keepsake that no one will ever be able to change or take away from you; keep all these wonderful moments/ memories close to you... each and everyday of your life's Cooper family. Just remember just because Karen isn't here in person doesn't mean she's not around you, it just means that she is in closest place possible in your life's....and that place is in your hearts. During this difficult time, walking down memory lane with memories and stories is the best medicine to help you. Along with being at peace knowing Karen is now free. We are all going miss her sense of humor and her unforgettable laugh it was contagious, and she always had a smile on her face at all time no matter what was going on at the time usually. We all have so many wonderful memories of your whole family when you guys started camping out at Warwick Conservation Area with the small white and red trailer before buying a larger trailer.
Darcy and family I’m sure your hearts are aching. I just want you to know that we are here for you if your need anything after everything calms down and goes back to the new normal don't be scared, to ask because that's what friends are for.
