Dear Sherie and all of your family. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. Ella was a lovely, kind woman and I loved visiting with her and hearing all her stories of when she & your dad used to pick tobacco and then go out dancing with Uncle Doug & Aunt Greta and my dad.. She was sharp as a tack, with a brilliant sense of humour and amazing memory. I will miss her.

I ran into Ella a few years back (10? 15?
time flies) at a yard sale we were having in Dutton! I hadn't seen her in probably 40 years but I recognized her and we had a great visit. She remembered exactly who I was! A lovely lady!
