Obituary of Marie Brock

Gladys Marie (neé Wilson) Brock (R.N.) 1918-2007 Passed from this life and into God's arms, Marie now joins her beloved husband Douglas (1991), her parents John and Estelle Wilson and Brother and Sister in law Harold and Glenys Wilson and Daughter in law Debra Brock. Marie is survived by her dear sister and Brother in law Donelda and Ray Brock of Strathroy, Brother and sister in law Rev. Kenneth and Donna Wilson of Hamilton. Left to cherish the memories of a loving mother are Pauline and Vern Phibbs of Sherwood Park, AB, Lynda and Charles Chanda, Langton, ON, Allan and Verona Brock, Corunna, ON, Wilson and Donna Brock (R.N.) of Grand Bend. Adored grandchildren Douglas and Rhonda Phibbs, Deanna Thomson (R.N.), Patrick and Julie Phibbs (R.N.), Chris and Patty Chanda, Lori and Steve Adams, Terri Chanda (R.N.), Jeff and Geneviève Brock, Douglas and Lisa Brock, Tyler Brock and Travis Brock. Great grandchildren who will carry on Marie's legacy of love- Sydney, Jesse and Gray Thomson, Ethan, Ryan, Will and Evelyn Chanda, Brock and Bo Phibbs and Brandon Brock. Dear nephew and niece Richard and Norma Brock (R.N.), Nancy Carruthers, the Rev. John and Rev. Charlene Wilson, David Wilson and their families. Visitation will be held at the Ronn E. Dodge Funeral Home in Forest (James St. at Watt St.) on Thursday, October 25th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday at the Arkona United Church at 2pm. Interment to follow at Arkona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory to Meadowview Villa or the Arkona United Church would be appreciated by the family.
