Obituary of Theodore Dusko Minten

In Loving Memory of TJ Dusko Minten

March 6th, 2018- November 28th, 2020

With deepest sorrow, we announce that TJ Dusko Minten, in his 3rd year, went to be with angels on Saturday, November 28th, 2020.

TJ loved his family deeply and is survived by his parents, Ted & Vanessa Minten; his little brother Max; his Pa & Baba Dusko & Margaret Bojkovic; his Opa & Oma Ted & Mary Lou Minten; godparents Uncle Chris & Aunt Kate (Liam, Connor, Kiera) and all his aunts & uncles: Bridget & Matt Burnard (Bradley, Charlotte, Alexandra, Elizabeth), Jeremy & Sarah Minten (Coy, Kya, Remi), Jordan & Hillary Minten, Jillian & Eamon Duffy (Lilah, Kolbe, Caspian), Emily Minten, Alyssa Minten, Ryan Minten and Becki Minten. Predeceased by Great Oma & Opa Minten, Baba and Dedo Nemcek, his great aunt Mary Jane Nemcek-Mair, great uncle Arnold Minten and great uncle Harry Rops.

TJ loved being outside any chance he got. You could find him stomping around in his yellow boots helping Oma pick strawberries from her garden or going on walks to the bush with his best friend Pa to look for deer. This past summer, TJ was lucky enough to have his Pa build him a new treehouse, slide and sandbox. He especially loved the sandbox and you could find him digging for hours with his excavator and scooping with his bucket tractor. TJ was a farmer through and through and loved helping on the farm in any way possible. No matter if it was pig or cow chores, planting or combining, TJ was always ready to help. TJ was a very curious little boy. He drove mom and dad crazy by emptying out every drawer in the house and taking apart anything he could get his hands on, but they wouldn’t trade it for the world. He loved when someone would read to him and had many books memorized from listening to them so often.  TJ was a wonderful big brother to Max. After not being so sure of him at the start, he has grown to love him and even would climb into Max’s crib in the mornings to wake him up. With his big blue eyes and shining smile, TJ lit up any room he entered and touched every person he met. He will never be forgotten and leaves us smiling through many tears. A visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF WATFORD on December 3rd, 2020.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Children's Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre, would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences and donations can be made at www.watfordfuneralhome.com.
