Milt was a good friend from the day we met him at church in 1975. He was a man you could always count on. Milt loved to travel. We were fortunate to travel with him and Maxine on several occasions. Milt could strike up a conversation with anyone anywhere. There are few people as kind and caring. We will miss him.

I have fond memories as a young person when the Toffelmire clan moved to Warwick. We were a little too young to know Brenda whom I believe had struck off on her own life by that time, but in addition to Milton & Maxine we came to know Laurie & Joe, Marna, Holly & Doug, Cheryl & Jim, Kelvin and Laura. Most of us would meet regularly at Warwick United Church, in the Sunday School, and in the youth group that did many activities together.
Milton seemed friendly and involved in the church, farming and the family. Our parents- who have passed- quite enjoyed the company of Milton and Maxine.
With fond memories and condolences,
Norman & Maija Holbrook

Warwick youth numbers doubled, were more fun, and left a more positive impact on the community when the Toffelmires arrived. We will remember Milton as the always-smiling, calm, gentle patriarch even as his health declined. Sixty-nine years married is a major milestone and testament to good lifestyle and pragmatism. We send our condolences to Maxine and family. It is sad to see our wise elder generation leave us but we thank them for their hard work, perspectives, and support.
